Busan International Film Festival (BIFF)

I have so many photos to share with you
since we have lots of events held in a city Busan this month
especially these past two weeks

firstly, I would like to show you some photos taken from
the opening day at the Busan International Film Festival (aka BIFF, former PIFF)
It is one of the greatest event held for those who work in movie industry
and for those actors (newly famed, respected ones all!) who worked
this year's films were most likely invited to walk for the red carpets

I don't act for movies (yet? haha maybe someday who knows)
but my grandpa gives me the invited tickets (VIPs) every year

since I was too busy until last year, I missed about 2 or 3 festivals already
and for this time they moved the place to newly made building
called a "Movie Palace" I wanted to take a better look this time

(my grandpa went with along the President of S. Korea and other
confidential VIPs who were invited the first to see the Movie Palace,
take a tour, and gets treated by the catering service etc.)

as you can read from the date above,
it was opened from October 6th and closes at 14th
(9 days long)

I went with my grandma on the 6th
(valet parked right across the department store at Shinsegae
and walked a bit to the movie palace)

I saw many tourists from China and Japan who came in time
to sightsee, shop and to see their favorite celebs

heard that this rooftop costed tons of $$$
you'll soon know why it does

my outfit went very casual
since I wanted to be comfortable while sitting
but somehow everyone expected me to wear a dress that day

actress Kim Ji Woo (she's from Busan)

loved her exquisite blue dress

took it too late
but actress Kang So Ra leaving
(had to film for Top Gear Korea)

after the red carpets, opening show
the film premiere of "Only You" was held
on the screen: two main actors from the film and the directors

the movie is about
a former boxer falling in love with a woman who had lost her eye sight
seems like a beautiful yet sad love story
(I didn't stay until the end but left the place right away after congratulating
the opening of the show)

because of this lighting (LED I believe)
it had costed a lot to build this palace

not just with this but
when you are passing by this place on the driveway
every night you can take a look at the rooftop
shone in a colorful wave of lights

those centered seats were for the actors
(reason why there are so many cameras, people running to see the actors and etc.)
on the screen: host of the day actress Ye Ji Won & Um Ji Won

I swear Korean girls are THE most beautiful in the world! =) I went to S.Korea at the beginning of this year expecting a good mixture of looks with the people but literally EVERYONE was so damn gorgeous! ha. I grew a little bit of a complex there hehe.

Lucky you for being able to attend the film festival, Im such an international film geek so I wouldve jumped at the chance. Although casual your outfit is very cute =)

Hope you've been having a lovely day/night so far ^_^
